I have no words. This is a story that will stick with me. My thoughts are consumed, trying to process this amazing story.
I was only able to read around half of this book and I just lost interest. I found the characters and the plot to be boring and predictable. There was nothing that inspired me or made me curious enough to continue. Although quitting early goes against my perfectionistic tendencies, there are too many good books out there to waste my time with a bad one.
I liked Zoe and her story of new beginnings and mutual changing of lives. But the book was a little hard to follow, since the author flipped back and forth between Zoe and Nina's lives. Nina was also somewhat unlikable in this continuation of her story, and I didn't think it suited her character. Overall, I liked this book, but there were definite flaws in the writing.
I got almost halfway through this book when I decided that the romance genre is not for me. While I appreciate this author's attempt to bring more substance to this love story, it still wasn't written in a that drew me in.
