- Way to much pages about fucking really took the momentum out of the story even if they the author did it to emphasize on the „plot twist“
- Trusting and being open to each other isn't a thing here huh
Enjoyed it, maybe sometimes a bit on the nose but easy and fun to read without feeling bland
I really liked Rookes point of view, Sorens a bit less. I had sometimes trouble to understand why he was acting the way he did. In the end it did not minder the fun I had reading, but it felt like he was stalling at some points in the Story because of it. Nonetheless excited for the next
Great story and very interesting concepts built up and developed, and all that in such few pages. You can not go wrong with this book.
I liked the book but had my issues with Lift, nothing major but still noticeable. I think, even tough it says you can, you should not read this as a standalone book.
I love this Book. The story was fun, the world building as always intriguing and catching. The cast of Characters felt great, everyone was different with their own goals and resolution at the end. Hoid our narrator sprinkled a lot of great and funny phrases into the mix which made it a well rounded book that I would recommend to everyone to give it a shot
This book just doesn't cut it for me. I am really not a fan of the world(-building) here, which hinders me to fully immerse into the story. I also don't like any of the characters, they all just feel so bland and boring...The first 2/3 of the book was a real slog for me, the latter part kinda picked up in pace and in something at least.
I also realized, that I dislike Young Adult but thats on me.

I think the end did not really fit the narrative and was therefore also a bit undercooked. Also I wished for a bit more connecting interaction between Jude and Cardan
Had fun reading it. My quirks with the first one were not prevalent here so in my opinion it was a step up from book 1
