See allThe Great Zoo of China does a great job of grabbing your attention within the first 30 pages. Having said that, there isn't much character development offered to the readers.
Anyone who is a fan of Jurassic Park will enjoy this book. However, if you're not into countless action scenes for almost half the book, this may not be your cup of tea. Four stars was given due to my love of the ancient animals being found/created and made into an attraction for the public plot line.
Fell very short of what I had hoped from this book. Wish it would have touched on the Disease (the Gets) more than it did, and wished that a lot of filler was taken out.
Hands down one of the best books I've ever read. Roller coaster of emotions and an absolute page turner. If you ever have the chance, read this book. You will not be sorry.
It is what it is. A sequel to a book that didn't require one. No where near as good as Ready Player One, but I expected as much going into this. Repetition throughout, and the author tends to skim in areas that would otherwise be excellent spots to expand. Felt rushed at times, and overall was what I expected. A sequel to a book that didn't require one.
Not something I would normally read but my wife picked it up for me for Valentine's Day. Ended up being an amazing book. Well worth the Pulitzer Prize it was awarded and find myself wanting to read more of this type of book in the future.
