Maison Ikkoku is a 13-book series with 13 released primary works first released in 1982 with contributions by Rumiko Takahashi.
The first edition of the Viz release of Maison Ikkoku was published in 14 abridged volumes with the chapters out of order. A second release (Editor's Choice) of this series by Viz published the entire 15-volume series in the original order.
