The sixth title in the New Species series. Wrath knows he's too dangerous and emotionally damaged to ever be with a female. Lauren has never met a man this truly spectacular, and she decides to taste every inch of his amazing body. Wrath wants to explore that plan, too. Lauren has to make him unleash his desire and Wrath has to get past his fear to give them a chance at a future together.

I'm enjoying the New Species Series. I'm really happy I picked it back up. Wrath and Lauren were fun! I enjoyed the scrapes they had with Mercile. They added some good drama and intrigue. I also enjoyed the interaction between Lauren's cat, Tiger, and the New Species. I don't think we've seen them interact with pets and it was priceless. On to the next one!
These are getting very repetitive. It goes: boy meets girl, sex, girl gets in some sort of trouble because of relationship with guy, guy feels guilty, guy backs away from relationship, make up nsex, girl again finds trouble, guy saves girl, they mate, sometimes baby. I feel as if the author is not developing any story line anymore. The world isn't evolving, just sex and mating. At least in the first few books there was more than just the sex and angst. The only reason I continue is in hopes of a New Species female finding a mate and getting a story.
