Definitely not AS dark as the last 2 books, this was a nice step away. It is hard to imagine a kangaroo type alien....
I also kept waiting for her to get her translator– I thought the story would be more about how the trio come together romantically AND deal with having children in space, buuuuttt that was way towards the end. Also, I kept wondering what else they would do in space. Do their jobs really take so long??

Anyhow, it was fun.
