I'll admit I don't totally understand the mind-separation, live-forever-as-data stuff, but this conclusion was great. It was interesting ultimately to see the consequences for Hideo's algorithm not only on the population, but on himself and his company, and the flaws that technology inevitably carries because it's created by humans. I felt like this book had a stronger message than the previous one regarding the failures of technology, but how humanity keeps/has to keep creating because once we have any one technology, it's nearly impossible to go back to a time before that technology existed.
