Wild Eyes

Although it wasn't my favorite Elsie Silver book, I still enjoyed it very much.

Weston is a top tier book boyfriend. A wonderful single dad, with amazing kids. Skylar needed friendship and understanding which is something Wes offers up in spades.

Skylar wasn't my favorite FMC but she was likeable. And grew on me more as the book went on. I enjoy that she finally stood on her own two feet at the end.

As with the Chestnut Spring series, the side characters in Rose Hill are wonderful and Iove getting glimpses of them. It seems like a town that would be found to live in, but being an outsider might be tough.
