I don't know how anyone could listen to this book and not see how desperately institutional change is needed in so many areas. A beautifully and bravely written story.
What is a Girl Worth? is the book we all desperately needed that should have never been necessary. Rachael gracefully & fiercely tells her story of seeking justice against her abuser, and helping other victims have their voice heard. She is clear and specific in the ways that assault should best be handled, and what is unhelpful. It is my opinion everyone, especially in leadership or close to a survivor, should read this book. The Church, specifically, should read this book.
Very well written - excellent read! EVERYONE should read this book! While I not a survivor of abuse, this book helped open my eyes to the realities of abuse and the survivors.
