We Hunt the Flame

I wasn't sure what I was expecting when I went into this, but I was thoroughly thrown into a new world that was hard to get out of. The mythos is there and the emotions from the characters is deep. I also wasn't expecting to have my heart so invested so early. I wasn't expecting to have to fight off heartache. 
The relationship is fantastic. Enemies-to-Lovers is one of my favorite tropes and I think it is done so well here. There is so much tension between them and I live for them. 


My only complaint is that it progresses slow– a bit too slow-paced for me. Yet, I was invested and so very excited for the next book.
