Watching Jude

The vibe of the book is like an embrace of old friend comforting and warm. A myriad intense emotions are hidden between these pages. There is so much to love while reading: wholesome and likeable characters, strong bonds between friends and brothers, well built plot with 2 focal points - the darker one is the abuse Jude was subjected to all his life by his own mother and the second one - the relationship between Jude and Nate. I am not a fan of insta love but the way these 2 clicked together like 2 peas in a pod felt natural and deeply touching. Jude simply flourished and bloomed like a flower seeking the sun under the dotting care of his Dom - Nate. Nate is such a touching example of nurturing dominant. He cocooned Jude in warmth and tender care in the exact time of dire need.
Excellent balance in the story between dark and light, love and betrayal, pain and healing.
