Ah, Raquel, you are literally klling me with these beautiful, heart shattering books. I loved, lived, felt every word, every sentence, every moment in Riggs and Rhett's story. Every one of those men came back irrevocably changed, a shell, barely held together, ridden with painful, bittersweet memories, knowing what loss and friendship really mean. And the worst aren't the physical scars and the lost limbs. The most devastating are the gaping wounds in their hearts and lives, where their battle friends used to be.
