This turned out being much better than I expected. Well written, clever and funny! Finished this in two goes.

No need to explain the narrative here - if you came here you know what to expect: whipping, furs, flame-haired voluptuous beauty and transgression of rigid social norms of 19th century, of course available to privileged and wealthy middle clas s only.

And moral of the story? Spoilers follow:

“That woman, as nature has created her, and man at present is educating her, is man's enemy. She can only be his slave or his despot, but never his companion. This she can become only when she has the same rights as he and is his equal in education and work.”
