Unsheltered

I have always been a fan of Barbara Kingsolver, and her latest novel has further cemented my love for her writing. The way she weaves two stories together is unparalleled. I found myself equally invested in two seemingly disparate story lines and their characters, aching for more of each as they slowly came together. The simple mechanic of beginning the next chapter with the last line of the previous chapter was engaging and flawlessly executed.

Kingsolver's attention to the feminine psyche, nature, and relationships is extraordinary. This novel left me breathless. Many thanks to Harper Collins for the ARC and the opportunity to read Kingsolver's newest masterpiece!
