Na eerdere boeken slaughter gelezen te hebben, werd mijn interesse in de Will Trent-serie toch gewekt. Ik besloot in te stappen in het 7e boek in deze serie en dan rustig omhoog lezen naar de wat meer recente boeken. Ik moet zeggen, het verhaal had veel om het lijf en soms was het moeilijk om alle karakters goed uit elkaar te houden. Dat zal deels komen door mijn gebrek in concentratie. Enfin, het einde was absoluut van hoog niveau en ben benieuwd naar de andere delen uit deze serie.

Brilliant! Once again Karin Slaughter brings us a fast-paced thriller. Will Trent is working undercover, and lying to his girlfriend, Sara Linton, about it, because the case he is investigating involves Sara's nemesis Lena Adams. As expected, fireworks ensue.
