One word Aaron Warner
This man can make me do literally anything with just one word from him.
Gotta be honest - I haven't been this invested in a ménage à trois in a loooong time....Team Confused!

I’m actually in love with this series!!
The way Juliette and Warner’s relationship develops throughout this book and the tension between her and Adam….OMLLLL
3 ⭐️
Okay book, I liked the character development and world building, however i felt that it was just such a slow start and I just really got quite bored, however it picked up around 75% of the way through and got slightly more interesting, however it picked never really wanted to pick it up, and that showed that it wasn't really my favourite. Also, I NEED more of Kenji. He's just so funny and
loving this so far ! my favorite thing is seeing the character development of juliette like you go girl get em !! excited to continue reading this series :)

I've been curious about the social media hype around this series, but it's just not for me. It's too YA and I keep drawing comparisons to The Hunger Games. It's not badly written, it's a unique style that captures the protagonist well, but I'm not in the place to want to watch a young girl discover her power whilst being controlled by men and not getting straight answers.
Enjoying the series; however, I had to rate this three stars due to the annoying theme of her wanting to bang every male character that was introduced.
OMG OMG OMG!!! I just finished reading Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi and I'm literally DYING from how amazing it was!!!
I think this book was better than the first and if it wasn't for my thesis, I would have finished it in 2 days max. It is still a 3* since I started noticing a lot of little icks in the writing or the characters, especially Juliette
Guys. I can't stand Juliette and her pov :/// like seriously I'm tired of being in her head get me out.
I do love Kenji and I'm lowkey reading the next books just for him <3. All you Aaron Warner simps?
I'll give it a 4.1 star... I think this is the real ‘Shatter me'. The writing in this one is better...
The repetitions were lesser for sure. My brain got used to the strikethrough sentences.
I still hate Warner so much and I hate how the book kind of killed Adam's and Juliette's love... But not really... Maybe Juliette likes toxic guys
im addicted to this series.
The first book was definitely better than this one but this is still an incredible book.
The story is more plot-focused than the first book and there is more world-building rather than character-building, because of this, the new characters feel very 2 dimensional.
The plot itself tho!!! It takes place directly after the first book and it makes sense. In my head, the first book and second have merged into 1 in my head because of how well-written they are and how well they flow.
The only major issue I had with the plot/characters was how Warner was turned into a legitimate love interest rather than someone who had an unhealthy obsession with Juliet. but the ending fixed that for me.
Well I couldn't put this second book down, so 5 stars it is. I'm a sucker for that YA not-quite-requited sexual tension.
rating - 5/5
honestly loved this book so much more than its precursors. The pacing in the beginning was a little slow, but when it picked up; i genuinely couldn't put it down. might've stayed up till 4 am, reading. but we don't talk about that.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE Aaron Warner. any doubts whatsoever have been replaced with absolute admiration for this man. He is everything.
“I want so many things,” he whispers. “I want your mind. Your strength. I want to be worth your time.” His fingers graze the hem of my top and he says “I want this up.” He tugs on the waist of my pants and says “I want these down.” He touches the tips of his fingers to the sides of my body and says, “I want to feel your skin on fire. I want to feel your heart racing next to mine and I want to know it's racing because of me, because you want me. Because you never,” he says, he breathes, “never want me to stop. I want every second. Every inch of you. I want all of it.”
“All you do is sit around and think about your feelings. You've got problems. boo-freaking-hoo.”...“Those aren't problems”. “It's stupid and ungrateful because you don't have a clue what everyone else in the world is going through right now”
“he's one of my favourite people on this planet and I'm so happy he's okay. I'm so happy he's my friend.
fares extremely well in terms of the romance, plot twists and action.
keeping the reader invested throughout.
I really do dislike love triangles. But just like watching a train wreck, it might be terrible, but you just can't look away (or stop reading in this case)
A classic distopian YA. Nothing special tbh about this book.
I don't like the romance, I don't like the love triangle (such a YA classic)... The plot is actually a circle, goes nowhere.
As always our main character is more interested in boys than anything else, which is not shocking, just a fact.
Giving 2,5 stars because I like the world and the concept. Minus 2 stars for word repetition (“I blink blink blink”) and I can not read more about boys eyes! God, how many times I need to know that they are green?! AND minus 0.5 for predictible plot and love triangle.
However I believe girls between 13 to 18 may like this book.
I AM NOT OK!! WHAT IS HAPPENING PLEASE??? IM SO CONFLICTED BETWEEN EVERYTHING I FEEL YOU JULIETTE
“but he grins, so brilliantly, not even paying attention. “i love it when you say my name,” he says. “i don't even know why.”“warner isn't your name,” i point out. “your name is aaron.”his smile is wide, so wide. “god, I love that.”“your name?”“only when you say it.”“aaron? or warner?”his eyes close. he tilts his head back against the wall. dimples.”
he is the STANDARD
