Finally! Ariadne really deserved her hardly won HEA after 3 books of perils, adventures and overcoming obstacles. This book was about strengthening and nurturing the already created bonds in Ariadne's pack and learning curve for all of them how to live together. But finding home also meant protecting it in time of need and danger. For Ariadne this was the time for the greatest risk and the biggest sacrifice but once again she was so tough and brave, took the new challenge in stride, locked her fears and uncertainty deep inside. I loved watching her personal growth through all the books but here it really shined brightly. And even though she was the beating heart of this little family of misfits, it was a pleasure to see that all the men in her life had equally strong bonds between each other.
“We deserve it, all of us. Going through sorrow and misery and fear, through pain and agony, fighting all the way, we've found each other and made it to the end of the uphill path.” - yes, they really deserved their piece of happiness!
