“You bet your ass. Just because he made fools out of us three times, don't mean one of these times we won't luck out. Notice he called us losers and not quitters. That's on account of we never quit. In my mind, that's the difference between being a loser-and a winner. A winner is willing to look like a idiot for as long as it takes to get the job done. I figure you stick with i it long enough ~ and you win. Unless you die or come down with some disease like shingles or cancer of the rectum. If I ever got cancer of the rectum, I'd go to the best rectumologist out there. Like I'd get a celebrity rectumologist. I wouldn't mess around with some local yokel.”
“All good to know,” I said.

Grandma Mazur is right in the middle of the action in Twenty-Six. Grandma has impulsively run off and married a mob boss, And the mob boss has unexpectedly dropped dead after forty-five minutes of wedded bliss. He unfortunately did not reveal the location of the all-important mob keys, though everyone presumes that the new bride has them. For that reason, and for other reasons of jealousy and greed, many people want Grandma dead.
If you are looking for a couple of hours of reading fun, pick up this or any of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum books.
Another great Stephanie Plum story. It was fun, and it was an easy read. Not enough about Joe in my opinion. Oh, and every time I hear about Rex, I want to inform the author that hamsters don't live very long. Maybe this book should have mentioned Rex the 3rd or 4th?
I look forward to the next in the series.
