This book will change how you view the movies forever. The movie has NOTHING on the book. It shocked me seeing just how different Bella was. Bella was funny and had so much more character to her. Edward was also funny and obviously struggled to convey his love for Bella as a safe distance. Bella was a lot closer to the others girls at school than she was in the movies.
The book was a train ride honestly. A good one though. Edward and Bella's relationship was so satisfying to watch. They both loved each other so much. They were both honest with each other and let the other know how they were feeling in the moment. They both were able to read the other like a book. They just work so well together.
Charlie and Alice were for sure my favorites. Alice was sweet and caring while Charlie just tried so hard to be there for Bella whilst trying to keep himself afloat.
The Cullens were amazing too. We didn't get to learn much about them in the beginning but when we did, I had so much fun learning about their stories. Hearing how they were turned and seeing Rosalie have a hard time trusting Bella just added so much more to them as characters. Emmett and Jasper gave such big brother vibes to Bella. Alice was like a little sister almost. Esme was the mother figure she didn't have in Forks. While Carlisle was the caring man who changed just how vampires could act and behave.
Overall, this book is rightfully famous. The writing style wasn't complicated. The romance was easy to watch and made my heart flutter at times. The characters made you want to root for them. It was perfect.
