I wont say that this novella was really necessary the first 4 books were d best for me.
If you're looking for a super fluffy add-on to the series, this book isn't it. It's not bad, it just doesn't have the same intensity or as many fluffy moments as the others. but it was nice to see a little more of everyone's past....

finished this cover to cover in one sitting:))This entire series was extremely fun to read, fast-paced & well-written. super sad that it's over:( but so glad that i decided to read it. I enjoyed the little glimpses into the different povs from all the naturals' childhood, it was really interesting to read. Similarly, while the case was short, i thoroughly enjoyed reading all of them put their heads together, one last time to figure it all out.
A few things the author could've done instead of devoting so much page time to an entire case in this book, was to just show them all happy, thriving, domestic. just living you know? Laurel going to school. Lia being Lia. Michael being Michael. A truth or dare game. idk ? there was so much potential for a more wholesome, fulfilling? ending. Sort of like an epilogue novella. i mean they all probably deserve it after the shit show they've been through at 17.
But instead it was left sort of open ended, hopefully for a spin-off series in the future.
Either-way, I'm just glad i was here for the ride;)
Pick this series up, you absolutely won't regret it!

Super quick little mystery. SloanexCeline is my everything. The mystery was fine I just wasn't that invested in the characters because I don't really know them. And we also just ignored the first 2 people that died? I didn't care for the flashbacks from the different naturals except for our lesbian queen, Celine “Celine smiles sweetly. “Why would I be interested in boys”, she asks the table innocently, “when there are girls?”
3.5 rounded down only because nothing can beat the ending of bad blood. this was sweet though. a nice look at each character both in the future and in the past.
This makes me want to go back and re-read the whole series again!! I'll forever be in love with The Naturals :D
