Tunnel of Bones

I'm glad I finally continued on with this trilogy thanks to Destiny for buddy reading it with me. There's no telling when I would have finally got back into this series if it wasn't for her. 

Like I said when I read the first book this is a middle grade book and I think for a middle grade book it is done well and I can see the age group that it is marketed to loving it but to me it was a little on the simplistic side. I still enjoyed following Cassidy and Jacob (her ghost best friend) but it wasn't mind blowing. It was easy and predictable but again just like the first book I loved the friendship between Cassidy and Jacob. I think that is my favorite thing in these books. 

At the end of book 1 I was worried about where things were going to go with Jacob and we definitely get more on that in this book I'm just glad it didn't go in the direction I thought it was going to go at least not completely.

Overall another enjoyable read and I'm looking forward to reading the final book. I can't wait to see where these characters go next.
