I am so excited! I love Annabeth Albert and her new series has not disappointed.
Nash is the Sheriff with the family name to uphold. Mason is the kid from the wrong side of the tracks, or better his family is. But he wants to make something of himself. These two men are at odds, at first, but daily small talk leads to lust and the need to save the town leads to respect.
There is a little bit of a coming out story but its to the town, he is out in his privet life. The town not knowing, will add strain on their budding relationship. Mason knows what he deserves and once faced with losing another lover Nash wakes up, and Mans up.
I can't wait of the next book!
Curtis, The crazy wood carver and Logan, the wondering soul.
“It's never a bad day when I come home to you”
This book was so sweet. Nash isn't out, and set in his ways thinking he is following his dad's footsteps. But it's just hindering who he actually is and hiding himself from his friends and community.
Mason lights him up, and though their relationship starts as a secret, the chemistry shines through.
It's wholesome with a side of spice.
