An amazing story although not together action packed. While her mother definitely is in the heart of the action, Aly chooses to stay on the outside and do tricks. She is a spy master in her our right and she is awesome.
Is it problematic? Oh, yeah. I feel like most of these books are, but in order for Aly to get a story, I feel like this is what had to have happened, unless George and Myles were killed off to let her become Tortall's spymaster.
