I want to thank the author for providing me with an ecopy via R&R Book Tour in exchange for my honest review.

This is an Urban Fantasy Paranormal Romance book and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's based on Islamic Mythology which I have never read about before. The male lead Owen is of middle eastern decent and OMG guys he's so perfect. Not literally perfect he does have his flaws and secrets which I pretty much guessed early on but still as a romantic lead I absolutely loved him.

Like I mentioned I guessed at his secret pretty early on but I didn't understand all of the details until he laid them all out. Even knowing about his secret didn't keep me from being fully immersed into the story. I didn't want to stop reading.

The female lead Rikki was a little to wish washy to me. I kind of understand why she was afraid to put herself out there but at the same time I felt like it was a little extreme giving the reasons that I'm still not actually sure are the reasons. I know I'm making no sense here I'm still a little confused myself.

As for the romance. Yes I have to talk about the romance. Y'all should be used to that by now. While the romance is a huge part of the story there is so much more that is going on as well that I don't think it takes over the story. It's a very slow burn romance which while I love the slow build it's not actually my favorite.

As for the ending. I just want to say that it was a great ending and would even say that it could be considered cute and romantic so not a bad ending but it's not how I would hve liked it to end. I can't say any more without spoiling anything so you will just have to read it for yourself.

If you are in the mood for a slow burn fantasy romance with a paranormal twist I highly recommend you read this book.
