I... don't know. Unsettling vibes, unreliable narrator, and desperate stakes. I do see how many people will like this and I'll probably recommend it to others, but it wasn't totally my vibe. I also read this with a headache and swear I was feeling the hums and thrums haha so we can also blame that for my mid rating.
