Things We Never Got Over

This book is amazingly compelling, even though it is extremely anti feminist and even though disbelief is hard to suspend at times.

At a lot of times.

Yet the dialogue is witty. And the friends and family and village in the book are like those in a Coca Cola Christmas commercial. Amazingly sweet and supportive.

Yes it's full of cliche's.
Yes it's twice as long as needs be.
Yes the sex scenes are over the top and very traditional in a way.

And yet, I had a good time. Especially during the first half of the book.

It has an addictive cadence and a nice lightheartedness.
