Things to Make and Do in the Fourth Dimension

A wonderful mind-expanding treatise, written with humor and clarity. I enjoyed the refresher course on the fundamentals and then had my brain thoroughly exercised and expanded with what came after. As big a maths fan as I am, I still had to slow down and plow though some parts dealing with topics I'd previously ignored or given short shrift to. The most fun I've had in some time while getting a headache. After the pain receded, I felt that my brain contained more than I realized it could, and was the better for it. Filled with fun things to do with balloons, straws, paper strips, pencil and compass and more! My only regret is that the author didn't provide more computer code for those of us inclined to follow along - I'll have to come up with my own so I can continue playing. I recognize that the way British people write maths in the plural is better and all but seeing jail spelled gaol sent me into cardiac arrest. We all have our limits.

I learn a lot of math and it was enjoyable. I also learned a lot of interesting math pieces.
