My least favorite book by Marie Lu. As I was reading, it felt very intricate and different- which I liked a lot. I'm just not used to that much sadness and darkness surrounding the characters and world.

However it's definitely got me hooked for the rest of the trilogy, but then again when am I not hooked on a Marie Lu book?
