Now that I am living this life thanks to the great Work From Home experiment of 2020 and 2021, I can say - this is the way I wanna work. Scott's memoir had some great tips that I am trying to implement - the P2 for one, is a great tool in managing remote teams.
At times I feel its too detailed and got a little boring, but I appreciated reading about his experience.
Strongly recommend this to any non-technical dev team leads, and of course, anyone looking into remote working. Some great insight - I took a lot from it.
I'm not sure I can really rate this, since my main reaction is that it's deeply disorienting to read a book written about my company, and a lot of the people I work with, the year before I worked there. Berkun has a lot of really good insights about our culture!
