The Waiting

The part where the neighbors eat the pet dog was way too upsetting and now I can't get it out of my head. Might just be a DNF for now but I can't think of continuing it at the moment. 

La narrativa gráfica, casi ni necesita diálogos para transmitir las emociones. Es una obra hermosa, comunica algo con cada trazo, se nota la desesperación, la tristeza, la esperanza... más de una página me hizo sentir que se me apachurraba el corazón.

En cuanto a la historia... pues qué decir. Es ficción pero basada en varios testimonios reales. Y es muy triste, y me hizo pensar en los miles de conflictos de hoy en día, y es más triste aún :(

Se agradece este vistazo a las historias reales.

Pretty sure her last graphic novel made me cry too. About family reunions across the Korean divide, for the last generation that lived through the war.
