The Wager of a Lady

Leo was an unexpectedly wonderful hero. I liked him in the first book especially, but he surprised me with his loyalty and hidden motives in relation to Anthony and Lady Masterson. The way he protected them both with neither being aware of what he had done for them was a bit heartbreaking. I also thought her plot to conceal Daniel in America while drawing attention to herself as the Merry Widow was brilliant. Unsure if we'll see Benjamin Cooke again, but I hope so he was a fantastic supporting character.
