I also really loved this book and devoured it in like two days.
It is much longer than most books and the writing remains to be so good, you hang on to every word. Really love this style and the story is getting better and better.

Summary of book #2:
Diana has become crazy wth bloodlust and kills everyone who betrayed her after another. Only the witch is allowed to live to help her. Samkiel tries to get her back but it takes over half the book for her to finally get back to him - while saving Nev & Logan on another planet where Kaden was preparing for the war. Diana also killed Tobias during that time.
To the end, she finally calms down again and also cannot withhold any longer from her love of Samkiel. But then the big betrayal happens, mainly by Vincent who was working for Kaden all along. Which is revealed to be the brother of Nismera “the one true king” and she succesfully kills Samkiel.
But Diana brings him back to live with losing the mate bond for them both and is able to flee together with the fate.
