The Thousand Crimes of Ming Tsu

I liked the concept of this but the actual book was a slog. Extremely predictable plot, super flat characters (especially the women) and these extremely long sentences strung together with so many ands that by the end I forgot what the sentence was about. Some of the nature writing is good but I couldn't recommend this.
