Everyone will hear you scream. No one will listen.
Norah can’t stop thinking about the night her brother died.
She was supposed to stay with him at the Halloween carnival. He’d begged her to stay. But they’d fought, and Norah left him alone in the woods. That was before she realized there was a real killer lurking among the costumes and macabre props.
When the carnival reopens just weeks later amid a media controversy, Norah decides to retrace her brother’s last steps in a desperate attempt to unravel what really happened that night. But the woods hold more than just traumatic memories.
Before long, Norah begins to suspect that the killer's choice of hunting ground was no coincidence. And that this nightmare is far from over.

Liked the setting and idea behind the book. I also liked hearing the multiple perspectives. The beginning was super strong, following Brandon's death was really tense and exciting, it felt like the book form of the movie Haunt. After he dies, the book felt not as exciting and repetitive. The haunted house descriptions weren't there.I felt no connection to any of the characters, and they all read so similar.

This would of been a perfect fall read. Corn Mazes, haunted houses, candy apples, and mini donuts. It was thrilling and had many different perspectives. Felt like a slasher movie in a novel.
It didnt give me the heart pumping anxiety her other book did, Run On Red, or a scary movie did but overall a good read.
This story was like the edges of a PopTart without the icing… Bland! 2 Stars ⭐️⭐️!
