I received this book through netgalley but, opinions and ideas about the book are all my own.

For starters, I do want to mention that this book can be rather funny. The concept of the book - Woman who can see ghosts - may not seem like it but, Melody and her friend Marina are quite the hoot! The dialogue is really great in the book and many times I found myself laughing out loud.

So, the characters were great and enjoyable albeit, not always believable. Then again, that is one of the parts that makes the book so quirky and fun. This isn't a serious read. This is meant for fun and laidback reading.

The love interests were introduced as well, Leo and Fletch. Personally, I'm rooting for Fletch– they've got hurdles to overcome but, it could happen. Leo on the other hand seems like a choice that will never happen :/ so, perhaps that will change in up coming books or he will just be there for drama.

You might be wondering why I've rated this review so low. Well, it comes down to... how bored I was. Gushing over guys is great but, sometimes it would go for a while or her daydreams. There were pages I skipped just to get the book moving along and I didn't miss anything plot-wise. Between 12-54% I really wanted to drop it but, I pushed on because of the concept – female ghosthunters lol. At 55% I decided I was already too invested and just needed to finish so I had closure (and maybe see what would go on with Fletch ;) ).
This is on my ‘try again later' list so, maybe next time I will like it more. As a huge fun of fun quirky books maybe I just didn't come at this one at the right time.

I recommend this book for those you like quirky, much like the Stephanie Plum series. If you like sass and females taking charge– give this a try. If you like mysteries or people finding themselves and getting on their feet– maybe try this? with caution.
