The Sister's Tale

I appreciated learning more of Canadian history but didn't love the writing. Not gripping, characters not super well fleshed out (didn't read the sea captain's wife so unfamiliar with the characters but i don't think you should have had to considering this is a stand alone book), and i saw the big twist (if you can call it that) from the beginning.
