The Silent Patient

After all the hype I heard about this book I was so excited to read it but in the end it just wasn't for me. It was too slow and I felt no connection to the characters, so I felt no pull to carry on and had to push myself to the end. Yes the twist at the end did save it slightly, but it was a bit of a slog unfortunately.
