4.5. Ellis' ability to set and maintain a mood, the numbness that the Bret of the novel admires in Susan, is second to none. The blending of autobiography and fiction brings the narrative in to the real world, and adds to the eerie and ambiguous tone.
A must read if you are a fan of Bret Easton Ellis' work.
