Mamma Mia! I adore this book. I love 1950s Hollywood retrospects. So many twists!!
I love that our protagonist IS NOT the default white hetero woman. The LGBTQIA+, minority, and Cuban representation is so refreshing, with reflection on assimilation.
I love how analytical and methodical Evelyn's moves are. She's a brilliant woman with so many layers. Each chapter reveals there's so much more than meets the eye.
I can't wait for the tv adaptation. This book is so cinematic, the words on the page felt so vivid, I really enjoyed my brains visuals.
