A series of narratives about parts of the supermarket development. We get a peek behind stocking, marketing, product placement, and more.
A down to earth a fun mid-level overview of the supply chain. I can't say that I have many other books or much other information to cross compare how accurate this book is or how gritty the details are. I found the writing to be approachable and even fun as it's written from the author's perspective on their travels and during meetings with other people. He goes into detail explaining statements and claims made by others which means you don't have to have prior knowledge of the area, but it's not so slow that if you do I don't think it would be a slog.
