This audiobook is awesome, but the main problem that I had is that it made references to movies and books, and there were some spoilers. I think it's perfectly fine if you are into popular culture, but for people like me, it can be a real challenge to follow up an idea or a reference because we are not familiar with those things. Besides that, I think this audiobook is very handy and helpful to have around.
A fairly standard but still engaging and interesting Great Course on how much science and science-fiction draws on each other. It had probably more Star Trek references than other movie or TV show franchises though, and while I'm not familiar with the Star Trek universe, it does give me some appreciation as to how theoretical physics can also make engaging sci-fi plots.
This was an interesting listen. The author goes through many different television shows and movies to prove or disprove the science behind the technology in the shows. I learned a few things and this is probably one I will listen to again because its so much info packed into 4 hours.
