The School of Essential Ingredients

From the first paragraph to the last, The School of Essential Ingredients had me. Probably because I listened to the audiobook and half the book was describing food, but I also loved the little glimpses into each of the students' lives. I wanted to eat and cook and go to this school more than anything. So much so that as soon as I finished this one I got the second book and started it!

Cassandra Campbell is a wonderful narrator and I think that really added a lot to the book as well.
