"Slocum Happler, a HistCon grad student currently between relationships, is enticed out of his academic world of Western Philosophy into a realm of intuition, dreams, and karma. Simultaneously investigating ways of knowing as well as the motivations of a murderer, Slocum is joined by a stunning young woman who can blush at will, his happy-go-lucky best friend, a band of homeless Vets, some very potent Gurus, and a special dog. You will believe in karma by the end of this very intriguing, fun, and perhaps transformative tale." --

A fun read, more so for me because I used to play golf with the author. A most interesting guy, pity I lost touch with him. Intrigued me the book, as I connected with a much deeper person than the book might indicate. Would love to connect with Marc again.
