The Sandman, Vol. 1: Preludes & Nocturnes

I should have known this wasn't for me, but I wanted to give it a chance anyways. I've only read one other book by this author and that was Coraline, and I really enjoyed that book. This one not so much. The story was hard to follow, and the graphics weren't for me. They were dark and gruesome at times. I definitely prefer the cutesy type of graphic novels.
