I definitely did not like this one as much as the first, but once I forced myself to sit down and read it I did enjoy it. I wasn't enthralled or stuck in my couch, but reading it wasn't difficult.
The first book has a much more magical– fairy tale-like feel to it, while this one seems like a book. It isn't a bad thing, just a great change and after the first book which I loved, it makes this one seem worse.
I like how things concluded and I'm glad I read this. I don't want to give too much away, so if you've read the first book then this one is worth the read to at least wrap up loose ends.
Now, excuse me while I go put 1,001 Nights on hold because I have a huge need to either watch or read that story.
