The Romance Line

The Romance Line by Lauren Blakely is a pretty engaging romance. The audiobook features Teddy Hamilton and Vanessa Edwin, who do a fantastic job bringing the characters to life.

The story revolves around Max, a grumpy goalie with a rough past (thanks to his ex & the press), and Everly, a PR specialist trying to improve his public image. Both have their own issues, but as they spend time together, they start to open up. Max, who loves fostering cats, shows a softer side, while Everly gains confidence and finds comfort with him.

Teddy Hamilton and Vanessa Edwin really nail their roles. Teddy captures Max's guarded personality, while Vanessa portrays Everly's mix of strength and vulnerability. Their chemistry is spot-on, making key moments really stand out.

Max & Everly really evolve throughout the story. Max starts to opens up and becomes more relatable, and Everly's journey to heal is sooo touching. Plus, Athena is a total matchmaker
