The Rabbit Listened is a very sweet book about how sometimes you just need someone to sit with you in something, listen to you vent, and let you figure out how you feel and what to do about it.

The confusing part was that the chicken seems to offer that in the beginning, albeit in a more aggressive and less patient way. I understand the point of waiting until someone is ready to bring something up, I just think that could cause a little confusion. I also think that people process information differently. Sometimes people don't want someone sitting right next to them waiting for them to speak. They want space; to be left alone to parse things out solo.
