The Queen's Librarian

While this book is absolutely hilarious and funny and so entertaining ... It really doesn't offer much else. Sure, the characters are likable enough without standing out. The plot is ... well, slow and takes forever to get anywhere and has a lot less adventure and a lot more fairies than I expected. (Fairies aren't really my thing.) So, while it's fun, it's also rather shallow and forgettable.
