I really thought I had everything figured out but , boy was I wrong. I absolutely adore this book and the characters especially Luca and Amarande. Amarande might be one of my favorite characters I've read ever in a fantasy book. And Luca sweet Luca I fell in love with him from the very beginning he's literally sunshine and just so so kind. I absolutely cannot wait to read the 2nd book
Bit nail on the head and I wasn't on the edge of my seat or anything, but it was fun. I adore the Princess Bride, so I liked all the little nods throughout the book. Didn't floor me, but I might pick up the sequel if I'm in the right mood.
