The Other Book

Not rated. I'm not a big fan of erotica but I enjoyed Horvat's [b:Adam Only 45297701 Adam Only (Those Other Books #2) Roe Horvat https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1557062962l/45297701.SY75.jpg 70013049] more than I thought I would. This book didn't work for me, though. There was little to no character development and I had no idea why Tyler was in love with Joel, other than the fantastic sex. I ended up skimming through the sex scenes to get to the few sections about Joel's toxic relationship with his father and Tyler's much more healthy (and charming) relationship with his mother. I guess Adam Only was an outlier; as much as I admire this author's writing style, I will stick to his more traditional romances from now on.

Straight up porn with no plot or character development to speak of, which, if that's what you're after, it's good. I'm finding I need more than that from books nowadays though. When it's literally nothing but sex the entire book, it just gets boring.
